  • As we are not production builders, we have never built the same house twice. So, you can rest assured that no one else in the city of Columbia will have the same house as you! We do not sell a commodity, but a custom home. Your biggest, most personal, and most valuable investment should be built with the end in mind.
  • We center our windows in the rooms and try to adjust wall space for pictures or placement of couches.

  • Our walls are framed with our studs 16" apart, even though the city ordinances allow 24" apart to pass code.
  • We wrap all of our homes in Tyvek building wrap which assists in the insulation and energy costs of the home.
  • All of our specs and customs have "low e" rated glass, unless the homeowner has requested otherwise.
  • All of our homes have blown, not batt, insulation.
  • Our homes are covered in OSB plywood. We do not use foamboard, which is not as good for security purposes.
  • Our windows are installed using silicone behind all nailing flanges and flashed with a min. 3" flashing tape to prevent wind, air, and water from infiltrating into the home and causing higher energy bills.

Lee loves to work with our customers to make sure they're happy and pleased with the process.

  • Riley Contractors keeps information on the job sites regarding subcontractors who are scheduled and the requirements of the homeowner (color choices, etc).
  • Questions and comments are answered or replied to within 24 hours.
  • Change orders are addressed within 24 hours from the time a change is requested so that the homeowner knows how much the extra costs will be right away, instead of waiting until the end and having surprises.
  • The industry standard of overages on a project is 10%. Riley Contractors consistently comes in well under 10% over estimate.
  • Riley Contractors' staff includes a project manager that helps facilitate good communication with the client. It is his job to be your liaison with our crew or subcontractors.
  • Our office is located at 1520 Business Loop 70 west. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 5:00pm. We do our best to make ourselves available to you, our clients.
